Equilibrium | Curatorial project by Dobromir Ivan 19.02–03.03.2024 Equilibrium is not obligatory; it is a desirable state! It is sought by Epicurus and Sappho, Montaigne and Heidegger, Sontag and Sartre. Equilibrium is also the aim of the group exhibition at ONE Gallery from 19.02.2024 to 03.03.2024. The participating artists have been deliberately selected from different generations and opposing styles. The indefatigable Sasho Stoitsov and the provocative Elena Panayotova, the poetic J. Pank and the scandalous Lina Bo, the dreamy Stefan Petrunov and the austere Leda Starcheva. The guest from Düsseldorf, Vanya Petkova, and Dr. Paushenwein from Vienna with their cool abstraction. We cannot pass by the mystically charged brick of Dr. Gatev, or the personal mythology of Kosyo Minchev, with indifference. On the gallery’s second floor, video installations will be presented by Georgi Ruzhev and the guest from New York—Tushev. The wine for the opening will be from Karabunar—Villa Velis is a true fan of contemporary art!
